Last October we went to the wedding of friends in the small village of St Amour (can it get more romantic?), on the border of the Bourgogne and Beaujolais area. This accommodation nearby was recommended to us and it did not disappoint us at all. A 18th century village in the middle of vineyards, just opened by the welcoming owners Isabelle and Jacky. For the moment they’ve got 3 rooms all decorated in style. Breakfast served on the terrace and it is also possible to have lunch or dinner, al home made.
The next day we did a little tour in the surroundings and visited the enchanting villages of Solutré-Pouilly, Fuissé and Cluny all in the middle of vineyards and with lovely little restaurants and café’s. Difficult to go back home…
Perfect for a long weekend or a great stop over for those heading to the south of France.
