SleepSleep: Nordic Light Hotel, Stockholm, Sweden

Nordic Light

For our yearly father and daughters trip, we decided to go to Stockholm. My sister and I had heard so many nice stories about it that we loved to see it on our own.

And were we lucky with the weather at this end of September weekend.

The fact that the city is surrounded by water gives it an extra dimension. It feels clean, crisp and all the people are beautiful and healthy looking. It furthermore has beautiful streets, shops, musea and good restaurants, what more can you wish for a city trip?

Finding a good, modern, Swedish design and somewhat affordable hotel that was well located, was not easy. But we found it and we were very happy with our choice.

The Nordic Light Hotel fulfilled our criteria and boy did I love the breakfast. For sure an extra perk. I could have eaten that all day!

It has a huge modern lounge, nicely lit and with a welcoming bar. The rooms are pleasant and have a nice bathroom. We took a standard and not the economy room as I had read that the latter were quite small.

All sights were on walking distance and it is just besides the train leaving for the airport.
I would for sure book this hotel again.
