Sweden makes me think of Pipi Longstocking and when going to this place, I thought she could pop up anytime.
After visiting the Modern Art museum on the Skeppsholmen island, we took a short ferry trip to the Djurgården island. Then a 15 minute nice walk through some woods and we arrived at this small oasis with a peaceful, 70’s kind of atmosphere. You absolutely forget that you are so close to the city (a 20 min walk brings you back into town).
It is a huge wild garden where people can pick their own colourful flowers and vegetables are grown. There are some glass houses one of which has a café inside that serves all kind of home made food (we had yummy soup and cakes).
You can sit outside in the midst of the apple orchard or inside surrounded by hanging fire places.
A place that seems a bit surreal and leaves you with a big smile on your face.
